IS IT TIME FOR GOVERNMENT REFORM?

Fellow Conservaive Patriots,

I’m uncertain if the following has any debating merit, but I feel it’s worth a try:

Over the years including the current one, politicians have abused their political power by allowing our federal government to accumulate trillions of national debts, and if continued unabated will inevitably bankrupt our nation with a dire fiscal consequence of seriously devaluing our nation’s currency.

This pending fiscal tragedy can only be averted by changing the fiscal governing philosophy in those whom we place in our political trust. For this reason, I respectfully ask for your consideration in supporting the following petition and its guidelines.

Implementing the guidelines as represented in the petition will be an uphill battle with those who politically represent us. However, this battle must be won by our vote in an attempt to restore the trust in those whom we choose to elect. We must also consider our vote as a means in preserving our nation’s constitution and its values, and theses values can be summarized into three words; FREEDOM, FREEDOM, FREEDOM.

PETITION FOR GOVERNMENT REFORM

I support this petition as represented by its following guidelines and will cast my future vote for politicians who have the willingness to support these guidelines for the benefit of myself, future generations of my family, and our nation.

1) Congress to repeal the existing wage class taxation system under the 16th amendment and enact into law an all inclusive flat tax or an all inclusive national sales tax system to generate taxes in supporting a more disciplined national budget.

2) By implementing into law an all inclusive taxing system, congress will provide the Secretary of Treasury authority to abolish the Internal Revenue Service regulations requiring taxpayers filing of personal income tax return’s that has been responsible for our federal government intrusion into the financial affairs of individual taxpayers.

3) Congress to enact into law a Balanced Budget Amendment to bring government spending under control.

4) All registered voters will be provided by congress with a one or two page annual summary report of our nation’s budget that categorically reflects the summary amounts of tax revenue collected and expenditures. The summary amounts will include taxpayers TARP reimbursements and Stimulus expenditures. Additionally, the summary budget report must include the amount of annual government deficit spending, the amount of national debt, and the amount of interest paid on this debt. The summary budget report will be fiscally educational and can be used by voters to evaluate the fiscal job performance of those whom we elect and have the overall fiscal responsibility to gradually reduce our nation’s trillions of debt.

5) Congress will be prohibited from enacting into law any new general welfare programs requiring deficit spending, borrowing, and national debt accumulation. This will include government provided Health Care and Cap & Trade legislation currently being promoted by those who currently represent us.

6) Congressional members will address the fiscal insolvency related to the Social Security and Medicare social programs and enact into law legislation to resolve the insolvency issues. Additionally, all working and retired Americans will be informed by congress accordingly.

7) All finalized legislation approved by Congressional committees is to be fully read and fully debated by all members of congress.

8) Congressional members special spending projects buried in unrelated legislation will be prohibited.

9) Voting will be legislatively moved to Saturdays within the voting cycles to allow a greater opportunity for working voter’s to exercise their voting privilege.

10) Term limits for Congressional and Senatorial members will be set at no longer than eight years respectively.

11) Congress to enact into law an Energy policy that in part provides for the expansion of car and truck fuel refinery capacity. The Energy policy must also include the opening of national areas for further oil exploration together with the funding requirements in pursuing other alternative sources of energy.

12) Congress will enact into law legislation to establish the full disclosure of our nation’s Federal Reserve Bank monetary policies and accounting transactions.

13) The appointment of Czars or similar appointments by the executive branch of our government at taxpayer’s expense will require the approval of congress.

14) Above all else, congress will provide the required funding for our nation’s military establishments, law enforcement, and other civil agencies to ensure and protect our nation and its citizens from harms way.

I acknowledge and sign this petition in exercising my 1st amendment rights as granted to me by our nation’s constitution in an effort to bring fiscal discipline, accountability, and transparency into the fiscal governing process within our federal government. In addition, this petition affords me and others who choose to endorse it with the opportunity to forward this petition to congressional members who represent me.
