I live in Green Valley, AZ which is 50 miles from the Mexican border. The flow of illegal immigrants through this area can't be completely controlled by the Boarder Patrol only. What is required is a military presence in this area and throughout our nation's southern border.

You, President Obama are given the constitutional authority to protect our nation and its citizens from harms way. If you can't make the simple decision to place a military presence on our southern border to protect U. S. citizens from illegal immigration, then you have no right to politically represent us.

Politics be damned President Obama, sign an executive order allowing military troops to be stationed along the southern border of our nation.

I feel every American voter and taxpayer should view the 30 minute film clip titled "I.O.U.S.A" created by the Peter Peterson Foundation and its CEO David Walker. The film will be educational and embraces the fiscal reality of our nation's debt and the negative financial impact that will be placed on all Americans.

The fiscal information in the film is before the advent of TARP and Stimulus legislation that added to our nation's debt, and before the advent of Health Care Reform legislation that President Obama and those in congress are supporting to be enacted into law.

President Obama recently requested that our nation's debt ceiling be raised from $12 trillion to $14 trillion. In the not to distant future it will be ourselves and future generations of our families that must take on an overwhelming tax burden to support our nation's growing debt and other government programs that most assuredly will lower all Americans standard of living.

Please join me in bringing public awareness to the "I.O.U.S.A"  film clip. The fiscal governing philosophy must change in those who politically represent us. We must vote for politicians who have a willingness and dedication in promoting and setting forth legislation to be enacted into law that begins the fiscal process in reducing our nation's debt, not adding to it.

The proposed Health Care Reform legislation is just another extension of deceptive and band-aid legislation to increase tax revenue a portion of which will be used to help support the $400 billion of annual interest on our nation's current $12 trillion of debts. Health Care Reform legislation will only add to both of these amounts contrary to the political rhetoric coming from our president and those in congress.

The Social Security and Medicare programs are basically insolvent and will now demand excessive taxation and a reduction of benefits to keep them solvent in the long term. This is in accordance with the Board of Trustees report provided to our president and those in congress. If the proposed Health Care Reform socialistic legislation is enacted into law it will also continually require excessive taxation and a reduction of benefits to keep this program fiscally solvent in the long term.

If voters want real change in the governing philosophy that exists within our representative government, they must be legislatively given the opportunity to cast their vote to establish and place term limits on congressional members. We must elect congressional members who have a willingness and commitment to bring forth legislation to reduce deficit spending and national debt accumulation that's now required for the very survival of our nation's economic foundation.

We are a great nation and a great people who have been blessed with a national constitution that has provided each of us with the freedoms and opportunities to pursue and attain our goals in life. These freedoms and opportunities are now placed in jeopardy, and should never be taken from us by a representative government that remains fiscally out-of-control.
